Bryan Kim, a bilingual English and Korean MC (& Celebrant) based in Sydney. While weddings remain my primary focus as an MC and Celebrant, I'm always excited to explore opportunities beyond the wedding industry. My passion is creating memorable experiences that bring people together, whether that is through celebrations, cultural events, community programs, corporate functions or youth activities. Through my involvement in the Korean Australian community, I work alongside a talented team of performers, artists and cultural educators who deliver performances, exhibitions and interactive experiences for councils, government funded initiatives, schools and community organisations. Our network includes professional K-Pop dancers, the Harang Junior and Kids Dance Team, traditional Korean performers and artists specialising in Jogakbo (Korean patchwork art), pottery, Korean calligraphy and Minhwa folk art. We also deliver hands on cultural workshops, including Korean dessert making, Jogakbo craft experiences, traditional arts activities and Hanbok fashion showcases. These experiences have provided me with opportunities to host and coordinate multicultural festivals, cultural celebrations and community events, where I introduce performances, engage audiences and create an atmosphere that is welcoming, energetic and memorable. My experience also extends to school and youth events, where connecting with younger audiences requires a different style of hosting, energy and communication. Earlier in my career, I worked as a fitness coach for children and teenagers, leading group fitness programs and coaching young people across a wide range of ages. This experience taught me how to read a room, build rapport quickly and keep young audiences engaged through enthusiasm, humour and positive encouragement. I understand that hosting teenagers is not just about being on stage. It is about creating an environment where they feel included, excited and confident to participate. Whether running games, introducing performances, engaging students between activities or maintaining energy throughout an event, I bring the same skills I developed as a youth coach into my role as an MC. Combined with my bilingual English and Korean hosting ability, I am particularly passionate about supporting Korean cultural events, K-Pop showcases, school programs and youth-focused activities where connection, participation and shared experiences are at the heart of a successful event. Whether you are planning a wedding, council festival, government funded cultural program, school event, K-Pop showcase or corporate celebration, I would love to hear your vision and explore how my experience, together with our wider network of Korean artists and performers, can help create an unforgettable experience.

What clients say

From our very first chat, we knew we were in the best hands. The ceremony was funny, moving, and flowed perfectly. Our guests were laughing and crying in equal measure.

Mia & David - Wedding

We had many guests tell us it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. Every word felt personal, warm, and completely us. We could not have asked for more.

Sarah & James - Wedding

We did a small ceremony and Bryan made it feel so special and intimate. Not once did it feel like a transaction — it felt like he genuinely cared. Highly recommend.

Amy & John - Wedding
